2019 Rankings

I have been asked by several people about their rank, and what events they are allowed to play. Here’s the list of every player that has participated on Mondays or Saturdays since January.

Below the table is a key to which events we hold and who can participate.

Contact matt@buffalofoosball if your name is missing and you’ve participated this year, or if you have questions about your rank. If you haven’t played in a Buffalo Foosball event, and you’re local, then you are considered a new player for the first few events. A beginner typically has less than 1 year of local tournament experience.

Tournament director has final say.

Monday Night Foosball

R&B – Rookies, beginners, new players

Saturdays

Pro/Am DYP a.k.a. A/B Draw, High/Low, Limited, or No-2-Pro – Open to all players. The field is split between A players, B players, and those in-between (-). An A will draw a B, and the in-betweeners will draw each other. There may be some temporary bumping up/down to make groups of A/B/- even.

Other Events

Open DYP – Open to all players. No restrictions on who you can draw as your partner.

Handicapped doubles – Open to all players. The difference in handicap is used to spot points to the lower ranked player or team. For doubles, average your handicap and round up. E.g.: Matt (4) & Patrick (1) vs. Mark (3) & Ariel (1). Matt & Patrick have a team handicap of 3. They will give 1 point per game to the team of Mark & Ariel, who have a team handicap of 2.

Open Doubles = Bring Your Partner or BYP – Open to all players

Rookie Doubles – Rookies, beginners, and new players

Amateur Doubles – Amateurs, rookies, beginners, and new players
